Here are the highlights for leasing your personal leased lobster trap with Crate to Plate™.
Dan’s full fishing season is from June 1 through Thanksgiving Eve. The full season program buys you all the lobsters caught in your trap from the first day of the fishing season, even if you bought a month in, until the last day Dan is at sea. A half season program is for any 3 consecutive calendar months during the season from your start date. The monthly program is for one calendar month during the season.
The shipping season is July 1 – December 1. For full season leased traps all shipments must be received by December 1. For half season and one month leased traps all shipments must be received within 15 days of the last day of the leased term unless the end/month is November. Final shipments must also be received by December 1.
